Out People

Out is the slang term used for an individual who public annouces that they are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or Intergender. Being Out can be a very difficult thing.  An out person may receive more harassment, find new problems, and may find life more difficult.  For individuals who are Out, it is a good thing. It shows that the GLBTI lifestyle does exist.

Here is a section dedicated to some individuals who put themselves "Out"their for the public eye. These people often are rolemodels for many people, have helped many more people accept their sexuality, opened new doors and the eyes of many, and helped break down sterotypes.
